P90X, The Return
After taking roughly a month off because of my work schedule, I jumped back in to my P90X training.
Dumb idea-The very first workout, which I will review below, was insane. The very first exercise after warm ups was a slow motion push-up. Are you friggin’ kidding me? I was shaking like a Chihuahua in a purse in Beverly Hills (whatever that’s supposed to mean).
Anyway, yoga the next day didn’t go any better. I still say that 90 minutes of this one is nuts. 30-45 minutes in I begin asking myself, “What are you thinking? That doesn’t bend that way!”
Shoulder|Triceps|Chest
This is one of the hardest workouts that I’ve done in this series. My arms were shaking halfway through. Expect push ups of various kinds. When I came to the one-arm push ups, I couldn’t help but laugh. I doubt that I could do one at the beginning of the session, let alone in the middle.
As usual though, I feel compelled to do the best that I can, and keep pushing. Even if my one-arm push up isn’t pretty, and certainly not complete, I managed to do something that sorta resembled what was being asked.
Not unlike the other workouts in the set, this one is challenging, and will push you as far as you are willing to go.

Good to hear that you are back doing P90X. When life gets in the way next time try doing just 30 minutes of the workout for that day. This way you always feel like your making progress.

@Becca, You always know how to make me smile.
@Brad, Great idea about cutting the session short when time doesn’t allow for the whole session. Some is better than none.
